On 30 October Chinese commercial and book printer Beijing Jiaxindaxin Art Printing placed an order with KBA for three Rapida 105 B1 (4in) presses. Bucking the slump to post a profit
Like the rest of the sector, printing press manufacturer KBA is experiencing dramatic knock-on effects from the current financial turmoil on its export business. On 20 September Polish printer Drukarnia Narodowa in Cracow celebrated its 150th jubilee, and the end of December will mark a second jubilee, this time a fortieth: back in 1968 the company took delivery of its first Koenig & Bauer press.
